Welcome to NJ Art Garden’s first anime art market: One Hell of an Artist Hall!
We are a small, not-for-profit, NJ local art group. Made by artists for other artists, we aim to support other local NJ artists and communities.
One Hell of an Artist Hall will be our first art market, focused primarily on nostalgia anime. We are proud to showcase over 30 local artists for this event, along with several other fun activities such as raffles, photo-ops and cosplay interactions.
Our artist hall will be curated to offer a variety of styles and fandoms, with a focus on nostalgia anime and fandoms.
As we are a NJ-based art group, we will be prioritizing NJ-based artists. We will still consider tri-state artists.

Setup/Breakdown Times:
– Hall opens at 8:00am for set up.
– Vendors must be setup by 10am when event begins.
– If vendors have not arrived within 1hr of the event opening (11am), their spot and table deposit are forfeit. If there was a valid reason (ie: family or medical emergency), then 50% of your deposit may be refunded.
– Event ends at 5pm, and vendors will have until 6pm to breakdown and leave the premises.
– Limited, free parking spots are available at the venue, otherwise paid street parking is available. We highly suggest carpooling with other vendors if possible.
Refund Terms & Conditions:

– Cancellations between May 1- June 1 are eligible for 50% refund.
– Cancellations after June 1st are not eligible for any refunds.
– If there is a valid excuse for day-of cancellation, up to 50% of your deposit may be refunded.
– Reselling of tables is not allowed. We have a list of waitlisted artists. If you need to forfeit your spot, you must contact us and your refund will be based on the timeline listed above.
– Proxy selling is not allowed. As it is unfair for other waitlisted or rejected artists who cannot sell their work, we do not allow proxy selling.
Portfolio Requirements
Portfolio Link(s):
Portfolios should have a minimum of 5 examples of the type of works/art style you plan to sell at the market. Social media links are not appropriate links.
Please link either a personal website, portfolio, online gallery or a google drive folder. Links must be active and publicly accessible (must not be blocked by permission requirements to access).
**If applying as a studio/collective group, please link all portfolios of the participating artists, or a single portfolio with combined examples from all artists.
Optional: If you are a collaborative group, feel free to indicate the roles of each artist.
Proof of Work:
Please include a proof of work in your portfolio. This should be an additional image to the 5 examples required.
Proof of work can be a process video or a screenshot of your work canvas and layers. (For Procreate users, the program records your work process automatically and video files can be directly exported)
**File must be a proof of at least one of the images included in your portfolio.
